Family medicine physician Lena Widman, D.O., sees patients of all ages at MidMichigan Medical Center – Mt. Pleasant.
Philosophy of Care
“I love working with patients of all ages and all walks of life. I enjoy creating long lasting relationships with patients and helping them through the many ups and downs of life.”
“I try to put the patient first and treat them as a whole. In discussing their care, I listen to what they really want. I will make recommendations for what’s best based upon the most recent guidelines, however the patient always has the right to choose what kind of care they would like.”
“I believe it’s very important to build a relationship based on trust and respect between patient and provider. It is imperative that the patient feel comfortable with their provider. It’s also important that I provide a safe environment where they feel comfortable accessing care.”

During her free time, Dr. Widman enjoys traveling, working out, watching collegiate basketball, and do-it-yourself projects including home renovation. She is happily married to her husband, Matt.
